Mid-State Welding was founded in 2004 by Bryan Presson as a way to provide for his family while serving as a pastor in his local church. Built on the conviction that a business should be run with the same integrity you'd bring to your faith, Bryan grew a small welding shop into a trusted structural steel fabrication partner for commercial and industrial construction across the Southeast.

At the end of 2024, Bryan retired from Midstate Welding after two decades of faithful leadership. Today, the business is led by Tim Presson and Tyler James, who continue to operate with the same values and dedication to quality, integrity, and service that Bryan instilled from day one.
